What happens when adult men come out? What triumphs and struggles do they experience? The stories in this collection explore the impact of exposing long-held secrets. Filled with tales about divorce, conversion therapy, misadventures in dating, overcoming bigotry, and gender exploration, Fashionably Late paints a vivid picture of gay, bisexual, and transgender men experiencing their second coming of age.
About the Author
Vinnie Kinsella lives in the famously weird city of Portland, Oregon. After coming out as gay at thirty-four years old, he founded the PDX Late Bloomers Club, a social-support organization for men who came out later in life. Drawing from this experience, he has developed a passion for supporting those entering into the LGBTQ community at an older age and educating those who serve as their allies. Vinnie can often be seen performing with the Portland Gay Men’s Chorus or reading a book in one of Portland’s numerous coffee shops.
